This is a story that is ancient and full of sorrow.

Smok lands and sits on a log
WOULD YOU LOT STOP MAKING A LIAR OUT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!
Gwee lands on the storytellers head.

The great Dragon from Fallen Wish lands behind the story teller
*Sigh* Anyway........ Many Gaians have seen the horns of The Dragon Queen, but not many know her tale.
In the times of the gods, dragons roamed the land freely. They were not cute adorable fluffy things like what we see today .... Mwee snorts smoke....
They were proud, strong, and honored warriors of the sky. But that time shortly passed as well.
Humans began hunting them, because it was rumored that their scales, when mixed with unicorn's blood and seeped with the hair of a sphinx, would grant ever lasting life.
This rumor was completely false, but humans will believe anything.
So, the dragons were hunted.
To protect her people, the Queen searched far and wide for a spell that would hide her people. She discovered the art of transmogrification, and shared it with her people.
She took the form of a human to discover the source of the rumor....
During her journey, she came upon a Prince of the land. He was smitten at first sight with her ethereal beauty, and courted her.
Unused to this sort of attention, the Queen of Dragons succumbed to the charms of the Prince, and accepted his offer of marriage. Unfortunately she never told him of her secret.
They lived quite happily for a time and had 2 daughters and 2 sons.
Now, when the children each reach puberty, the Queen sent them away to distant "relatives" for schooling. The truth was that when a dragon reached puberty- they lost control for a time span and needed room to romp.
A year or two after their youngest left, the Prince went away on a secret mission.
The Queen began to worry as time passed. It had been months since she had received letters from the children, and their had been no word from her Prince.
So, she took flight in search of her family.
She began to hear stories of dragons fighting a noble Prince- and became concerned.
One by one, she heard rumors of the demise of 3 dragons......
She came to a field, where she spied her youngest and her husband in battle.
Now, everyone knows you never mess with the young of a female.
Enraged, she flew down just as her child was about to be skewered by her husband's lance, picked him up, and downed his armor.
Full of sorrow and grief, the Queen took to the mountains and hide away- falling into a deep sleep.
The Dragon Queen vowed to never trust humans again.
