He rolled in on a Harley,
It took him for a ride.
The tattoo of a heart
with Mrs.Claus inside.
His suit cut up,
his beard trimmed short,
his double chin visible,
his drugs out to snort.
Bad a** Santa
is coming to town.
But forget the toys,
no room for them around.
He's bringing his elves
and ripping up the list,
cheating on the missus,
so pucker up and kiss.
Footsteps echo in a painted dream
Met with sculptured stares and thoughts unseen
There are ghosts in the walls
Ghosts in the halls
Ghosts of the men you forgot to kill
Ghosts of the men who took your will
Walk through a desert on a moonlit night
Pick up the sand
Let it run through your hand
Let it flow back into the into the land
Pour some in your eyes
Scream into starry skies
Pour some down your throat to choke your cries
Ghosts that drift through desert sands
Ghosts that gently grab your hand
And guide you to strange, unknown lands
Where dreams drift among the stars
And into warm, welcoming hands
The sky is shattered, the sea is torn
Bright arrows of light divide the storm
And from the dirty rivers drowning the streets
A beautiful calm will form
You run through the crystal sky
Fall back through the storm, slowly sigh
Again, and again, and again you try
To strip the moon, to watch the night die
To climb through bleeding mountains of sky
Ghosts of all the times you'll cry
Ghosts of whispered, shuddered lies
Ghosts of the day you're voice will die
Strip yourself
Watch all love to your eyes begin to weep
Touch their tears
Fall asleep
Fall into a wild, twisted ocean, dark and deep
Along the bottom of the sea you'll creep
Walking through a forest of angst
Scarlet skin ablaze
You're eyes lost to a bleeding haze
You climb atop a mountain, fall to you're knees
Ghosts that cry come with us please
Today you'll feel no more pain
From crouching like a statue of aging dreams
Among storms of boiling rain
Ghosts in your mind like a cancer
An old dark stain
Ghosts that will soon end your pain
