All about me...

Well, here is a not-so-brief description of me. I love to read and write (This year I realized how awesome poetry is and it is my favorite type of writing now). My favorite animal: the frog (toads count as well, lol). I love to collect books, and I am a bibliophile. smilies/icon_xd.gif

I try to enjoy life as it is given to me. I love nature and being outdoors, so camping is one of my favorite things. I am a Boy Scout and I am working on becoming an Eagle Scout right now. I play the trombone, and I really love to play it. I enjoy all kinds of music, but I don't really listen to it all the time. My family is very important to me, as well as my friends and two dogs. Who else will accept you for who you are and support you through the rough times and the good times? So...That's me, and as you may be able to tell, I have a hard time with being concise...but that is kind of funny because poetry forces you to be concise and use powerful words to make a piece of writing where every single word, punctuation, and space matters. I don't know how you could not love poetry, even if it is a challenge to write a poem that is unique and just what you want. Maybe that's why I like it...I do love challenges... smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
