Personality - Serious and calm; almost never showing any sign of surprise, anger, sorrow, regret, or even remorse. While civil towards the other, higher Espada, she treats those below her as what they are, underlings. Lash has Fraccion, past and present, but they are nothing to her. She would just as soon cut them down as she would the enemy, which is sometimes the case. For simply failing to complete a mission, her first subordinate Zofis was slain by her without a second thought. Furthermore, there have been numerous instances involving prisoners taken by the Ryuu No Kami in which Lash acted...less than civil. She appears at first glance to be the perceptive and intuitive one of the Espada. However deep down Lash is just as twisted and cruel as any other Hollow. The clever and observant act is merely a front. It would be wise not to cross her.
Appearance - As with all Espada Lash wears the classic black and white colored uniform. Although her outfit looks different than the others in the group. The uniform starts as a high collar just below her chin which extends down into a tightly cut jacket fitted just for her. The jacket has long arms that reach down to her wrists and open into wide sleeves. The remainder of the jacket continues down to her waist with twin coattails coming off the back. From here the lower portion of her uniform is a simple female version of the hakama which resembles more of a dress than pants. Finally a pair of lightweight black boots finish it off. Her Zanpakuto is kept horizontally across her mid-back. Lash's hair is a platinum blond color and neatly kept in a unique style with curled tufts spiraling down both sides of her face. Her eyes are a light violet color as if white and pink were mixed together and her skin is of average complexion and color. She stands at an even 5' 5" tall. The mask worn by Lash covers one entire side of her face as if it was a full mask broken in two. A single narrow eye hole rests over her left eye. The mouth piece is half complete as well, with a row of unfinished sharp teeth.

Zanpakuto appearance - Unlike the classic katana styled blade that most Arrancar have, Lash's Zanpakuto resembles something closer to a wakizashi. The hilt of the sword is of standard length but the blade itself measures only 18 inches long.
Resurrección form - "Succumb, Anzuru." The release of Lash's Zanpakuto surrounds her body in an explosion of spiritual energy, stemming from her blade. Lash now appears vastly different in her release form. Everything from her clothing down to her hair has completely transformed. The half mask over her face breaks prior to the eruption of energy and now surrounds the top of her head as a circlet style tiara. Two horns protrude from the edges of her forehead but are still attached to the circlet. Her hair has become longer and turned pitch black while straitening as well. Lash's eyes become much darker than before. The violet color deepens and becomes crimson red while her eyes themselves are surrounded by dark lines that resemble a heavy eyeshadow. Her upper body is covered by a black and red patterned bustier that fits very tightly against her abdomen. The upper portion being a dark red while it fades to black as it gets lower towards her waist. The hakama she wore pre-release are gone, now replaced by a dark red skirt. It matches with the color of her bustier and reaches to the halfway point between her knees and her waist. Her black boots are the only thing that stay relatively unchanged. They reach higher up her legs than before and now have heels on the bottom. Lash's skin also lightens significantly from being a peach color to completely pale, making her look somewhat ghastly. One of the most notable features are four black wings that have sprouted from Lash's back. They appear to be animalistic, veiny with pointed tips, almost like a bat. The Zanpakuto she had is now replaced with a massive scythe. The handle is bent and curved at certain angles, making it more convenient to wield. The blade is black with a silver edge while the handle is all white. Lash looks truly demonic in this form and instills the absolute meaning of Fear into her opponents. This is shown in the abilities she now possesses as well as the devilish smile she is often seen making during a fight.
Bio - Created by Shin using the Orb of Distortion. Unlike most Hollow, Lash actually remembers much from her human life. This is mainly due to the fact that her transformation from human to Hollow and finally Arrancar was rather rushed and sped up, leaving her little time to forget her past life. She was once Shin's greatest enemy known as Sonja Hayami but after having a "change of heart" she sought out to join his army and become an Arrancar herself. After successfully moving through the different level of Hollows Lash managed to raise to the level of Vasto Lorde. From there Shin ascended her to the level of Arrancar where she proved strong enough to take on the title of third strongest in Shin's army. Lash is now completely loyal to her new king and will follow him to the end.

Attribute enhanced by loss of regeneration - Pesquisa. Lash's ability to detect reiatsu and spiritual pressure is currently the best in Shin's Espada. Her keen intuition is what allows her to sense even minuscule levels of spiritual energy from great distances.
Arrancar abilities
Fantomo - Lash's blade not only has a unique appearance but also a unique ability to it as well. She is one of the few Arrancar with a Zanpakuto that has a special technique while unreleased. The blade can use Reiatsu to extend itself, unseen. This allows Lash to fool her opponent into coming in close against the seemingly short blade and then cutting them with an invisible attack. The extended portion of the Zanpakuto in addition to being invisible also isn't solid, so it can't clash against and parry another solid weapon. Its use is limited to slicing unguarded opponents.

Cero - Are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from the mouth or hand. Only menos, arrancar, and vizard have so far been shown to use cero attacks, and it appears that higher classes of hollow can use it more efficiently. It is unknown whether sufficiently strong regular hollows are capable of it. Lash fires Cero blasts that are indigo in color.

Gran Rey Cero - is a particular, very strong Cero. To perform this potent variation of the Cero, the Arrancar first draws blood from the Cero-generating appendage using his or her Zanpakutō, then charges the Cero while mixing the blood with it. The result is a Cero with a much greater attack power and speed, as well as a change of color unique to the Espada.

Kryzol Cero - Lash's self-proclaimed "perfection" in terms of Cero. The wings on her back fold up and form an X shape behind her in preparation for this attack. The four pointed tips on the wings fire what appear to be thin beams of black energy that all meet at one point directly in front of Lash. By raising her palm right behind the focal point of this energy and firing her own Cero, the two energies mix together into a single, devastating combination of power. The blast is a swirling torrent of power that is both jet black and indigo in appearance. Words cannot describe the amount of damage done by the impact, one must experience it for themselves; however deadly that may be.

Pesquisa - Is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami ability to sense spiritual pressure.

Suukou Pesquisa - Once released, Lash's already superior ability to sense spiritual pressure is multiplied by numbers ranging in the thousands. It is in this form that she can sense the smallest change in reiatsu from several hundred meters away. The ability is heightened so dramatically that she can even "feel" not only where reiatsu and spiritual energy is, but where it is going. This gives many of her opponents the misleading idea that she has some psychic ability after they teleport or use high speed movement only to find that Lash is waiting for them.

Hierro - refers to the ultratough skin of the arrancar; while very strong, it is by no means invincible.

Sonido - Is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami flash steps; it allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds for short distances.

Bala - Is a weaker but quicker alternative to the regular cero attack. The technique hardens the user's spiritual pressure and fires it at around twenty times the speed of a cero blast.

Akaime - Being struck by the scythe Lash wields delivers more than what it seems. The special ability held by this weapon, as long as it's in Lash's hands, is that the wounds dealt to her enemy's body bleed much more than they should, much faster than they should. A shallow cut that would normally bleed for a few minutes at a slow pace would bleed for almost one hour with a steady and fluid pace. While seemingly insignificant with smaller wounds, this technique could easily cause the victim to bleed to death with a single attack if hit deep enough. It's estimated that this technique draws blood five times faster than the wound should produce.

Garganta - Is how larger hollows and arrancar move to and from the Hollow Realm. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.

Other - Though the memories from her past life will eventually fade, Lash keeps a single item from her previous life with her at all times. A journal. As "Sonja Hayami" she documented battles she engaged in and wrote detailed reports on her opponents abilities. Now as Lash Faita, the third Espada, she will continue to do the same. It remains a top priority and famed hobby of hers.
