I go by the name Catherine in real life, but Gaians can shorten my username to just Marion.
I was born somewhere in Canada and am of Filipino-descent.
I'm fascinated by the Vocaloids, though I wasn't sure whether I should list them as a favorite band... I'm a fan of Gackt's music. And many j-pop/j-rock artists. Shio Yee has the voice of a goddess and intense musical skill, in general.
I guess I'm just totally into the Japanese culture and language. I hope to learn Japanese someday, alongside my existing knowledge of Spanish and Tagalog. Um, and English. ninja
I like roleplaying with my best friend Shigu and mixing story ideas with my best (guy) friend Leon. I tend to have a demented rather pessimistic way of looking at things, especially in my stories and private (irl) roleplays, where themes of human nature are prevalent in nearly all my works. For some reason, my cynical negativity doesn't carry into my real personality. Odd.
I have to say, I'm grateful that the Twilight series spurred vampire and other paranormal romances into the young adult audience, but don't expect me to walk within a fifty mile radius of anything that sparkles... :
