Well there's extreme stigmas for both versions of after moms. Either get your body back within a damn month, or barely look pregnant while pregnant so it's easy. Or just be fat frumpy mom forever. I've always been health and body conscious, so I know what I can and can't handle, when to push, when to take it easy. Definitely made it easier for me.
As far as pregnancy and labor go, I guess it could be bad if mothers don't stay active, or know how to separate themselves from their bodies. That sounds really weird, but I can basically relax myself til I feel nothing. Super useful. While I was pregnant I continued doing yoga, had to alter the poses a bit later on of course, and I jogged up until seven months. Then it was just walking. I still managed to gain all that weight though. crying

Birthing isn't bad! There's always the option to adopt cute widdle babies though. A much more expensive initial investment, but still very worth it. Babies are expensive no matter what, but I've always wanted to be a mother. If I could never have my own I would definitely adopt, or foster. I love kids of all ages.

I do the same. I can't be bothered to be here daily like I used to.

Oooh my god. You have no idea. I jumped from 112 prepregnancy to 171 the day I went into labor. The day I was discharged I weighed 159lbs. Had to heal 6 wks thanks to my emergency c-section, + an extra wk because one stitch came out early while I was going up some steps. Also women are either liars or pansies. I didn't need pain medication for labor (which I was in 16 hrs), or after a c-section.
I hit up the gym for some major cardio and weight lifting 4 days a wk, 2 hrs a day. It was hard. I only got down to 133lbs when I went to the gym for three months straight. Then I started a job, and wearing corsets, the rest just fell off on it's own! 4laugh
