THIS IS 1 OF MY POEMS CALLED:SUMMER!


I have never been fishing on the Susquehanna
or on any river for that matter
to be perfectly honest.

Not in July or any month
have I had the pleasure--if it is a pleasure--
of fishing on the Susquehanna.

I am more likely to be found
in a quiet room like this one--
a painting of a woman on the wall,

a bowl of tangerines on the table--
trying to manufacture the sensation
of fishing on the Susquehanna.

There is little doubt
that others have been fishing
on the Susquehanna,

rowing upstream in a wooden boat,
sliding the oars under the water
then raising them to drip in the light.

But the nearest I have ever come to
fishing on the Susquehanna
was one afternoon in a museum in Philadelphia

when I balanced a little egg of time
in front of a painting
in which that river curled around a bend

under a blue cloud-ruffled sky,
dense trees along the banks,
and a fellow with a red bandanna

sitting in a small, green
flat-bottom boat
holding the thin whip of a pole.

That is something I am unlikely
ever to do, I remember
saying to myself and the person next to me.

Then I blinked and moved on
to other American scenes
of haystacks, water whitening over rocks,

even one of a brown hare
who seemed so wired with alertness
I imagined him springing right out of the frame.






the meaning of the heartagram
The heartagram was a sign that Ville himself drew...it's meaning was unknown until they brought out Love Metal. This was an album above all albums. it's very music described to everyone exactly what it's meaning of the heartagram was. Yet every description was different, for you see, the heartagram it's self means nothing really, you have to believe to make it mean something. Otherwise it's just a shape.

it's that time again ----to take my pills
to close my eyes from the gravest of chills
I enter the realm of decayed thoughts and dreams
I fall asleep and my spirit screams
for everynight when I shut my eyes
I'm tempted by dead women and their filthy lies
They entice and trap me within a Golgotha of Bones
I try to run but for my sins I atone
they chatter away with their skeleton teeth
tear off my pants and look underneath
they gleefully chomp and they bite off my c**k
torture me through my nightmarish epoch
blood spurts out my groin and they lap it up
then they grab with bony fingers and rip off my nuts
they gently unwind my testicle cords
and slice off my raw ureters with an ancient sword
after that they go for my eyes
these cadaverous wantons I so despise
they tear out my corneas with blitheness and glee
gash away my eyeballs ,so those they can eat
they rip off my nose and throw it in the bones
the ringing in my ears drowns out the bloodcurdling groans


after that they gnaw off my toes
and drink from crimson geysers as my blood flows
time to rip out my organs with their visceral claws
and stuff pieces of my hemic liver into their jaws
another tear and they've gouged out my heart
becoming grosteque candy for those wicked tarts
last of all they flock to my brain
eviscerate it's contents and laugh at my pain
every night i'm haunted by this dream
my body convulses and my spirit screams
I'm tormented by deceased harpies every night
destroying my mind as I hopelessly fight
But now is the time my great escape
my fragile psyche they will no longer rape
i head to my kitchen and grab a knife
the time has come to end my life
I can only hope to evade those whores in death
I slice my wrists open and I hope for the best
But as I go to other side
I've become the architect of my own destruction and pride
For in the afterlife the undead have returned
To torture me for lessons I've failed to learn
