About
Greetings fellow Gaians. Welcome to my profile. You must have wandered here in order to learn more about me, correct? Without further ado, I will fulfill that request. But where to begin? Ah, I know.
You likely already know my name, as stated on the left side of my profile. I go by the name of Aphrodite, or in many cases, I am addressed simply as Aph.
As of the fifth of December of the previous year, I am twenty years old. And for those whose curiosity is piqued, I am indeed female.
For the past six years I have been a proud member of Gaia. I have also been avidly posting in the Welcome to Gaia forum for the past five years. Rarely do I venture outside of a small handful of forums.
I have an array of hobbies, but will list just a few to satisfy your curiosity. First, I love to sit back and read a good book. I am particularly fond of old sci-fi and adventure novels. Second, I love my gardens, both indoors and out. Recently I have begun to dabble into edibles such as herbs and vegetables, which I am not very familiar with. I also have a passion for culinary arts and bake quite often. Probably more than I should, I admit. But it is simply so delightfully fun. Someday when I have more time on my hands, I would like to take up knitting or sewing. Alas, I doubt I would ever have the patience for such a hobby.
Here are a few facts and pet peeves:
Although I consider red as my favorite colors, I often find myself fawning over new colors indecisively. I have a pet cat named Lila, but wish to someday have a rabbit as I once did in my childhood. Or a duck named Waddles. I sometimes type overly dramatically. My choice of weapon is a bow, the same as my astrological sign, Sagittarius. The only reason I will sometimes wear glasses is due to astigmatism in my left eye. I would rather wear a monocle, though. I have been a Doctor Who fan for several years.
As far as I am concerned, I will accept a friend request so long as I feel you are friendly and would benefit from your company. I, however, do not accept requests for the sake of having many friends. I believe in friendship, or at least acquaintanceship, and not numbers. This means I do not accept random requests.
