Lots of men have voices. I believe it was Deathstroke that said. "This is how fires begin. Little men with big dreams. Long memories. Short imaginations and shorter fuses. And too much time and opportunity. Fires start in the funniest places"

Owning a building was hard. In the grand scheme of things, it was much easier than, say, running a company with over a hundred thousand people in your employ in various cities across the globe, or building a fully-functional Persobot to act as your own robot double, but it was still pretty hard. Even though half of her tenants were robotic, the human half was still enough to make life aggravating. So much so, that Gerard, the acting super, begged her to help.

It wouldn't be much, just rigging a few cameras up to catch the little punks that've been tagging the sides of the building and smashing the big bins. I know you can do that easy; after all, you built me without much fuss at all!

So she'd set up a few extra pinprick cameras in the problem areas and tuned a screen to them. She wasn't actually expecting to catch anyone.

Until they did.

The hood was a little offputting, as if maybe this wasn't your run of the mill teenage ne'er-do-well, but still. The little b*****d was three stories down, on her side. She could throw water on him from the fire escape. Actually...

Disengaging from the Womb and picking up her watering can, Ko opened her window as slowly and as quietly as she could. She could already hear the psssh psssssh of paint, and grinned. Hey, you! As soon as the spraying paused, she overturned the can, water splashing down to the pavement below.
