At my school there's a 4-year program without and a 5-year program that involves 12-16 months of work; I'm on year 3 and this'll be my second 4-month term at a tech job. Next time I'm hoping to land an 8-month spot with Research in Motion or IBM. What I'd really like to do is work with low-level languages and robots; more interesting because you have to deal with enormous physical memory constraints and - come on, robots. Dr. Wily has always kind of been my hero. In the coming academic year I'll be writing an OS for a little 'bot.

I am kind of pathetically proud of just remembering what the Ionosphere is. Woo, first year earth science! (I have a PhD in wikipediology for when running the gamut of general courses fails me, too. e_e )
