I am starting to feel better so I should be back to old self in time for Christmas lol but I heard my grandpa is in the hospital and grandma is sick too so I may need to go to my moms tonight to help out with planning for Christmas eve tomorrow with the family, but it also depends on if my bf feels like taking me over there tonight since his knee has been bothering him again. Yeah the disability and being on medicaid now help a lot. I barely pay anything for my meds so I have money left over every month to spend on other things. That sounds nice about your job and I understand when I had no insurance it was hard for me to take care of myself properly. I still need to find a new dr and psychiatrist though but i will save that for after the holidays. I hope you can get to feeling better soon and take care and I hope your holidays are stress free and lots of fun!

That's good! Glad you're doing better. I'm sorry to hear about your grandparents, I hope they recover smoothly.
Aah, okay. How do you think that's gonna go if you end up going over? Stressful?
I'm sure. I actually have insurance, but it went up to $100 a month now, and before I changed plans it had a really big deductible so I'm still paying off some medical bills from when I had to go get a bunch of stuff checked out. 'Cause you know, I didn't have any insurance before then and I'd had some physical problems starting to pile up, so the second I got insurance I had to go get it taken care of.
The new plan has a $0 deductible, but the copays and coverage for the medicine is still the same, so it's still going to cost money that I can't manage right now unfortunately. As soon as I can though I'd like to get something arranged. Yeah, no point dealing with that during the holidays. It'd be harder to anyway because the offices will be keeping different hours and they'll probably all be busy with their own families and stuff anyway. I hope it goes well when you get around to it!

Well, the job was arranged through family and I live on the property, so it's really unconventional. That's good that you were able to get disability. It wasn't something that I could practically pursue at that time, and likely still isn't. Glad your meds have been able to help you! I need to resume treatment sometime, but I can't do it right now.

Keep an eye on it. My first couple of periods after not having any for years were fine, but then it was like my body just randomly decided to catch up all at once. The good thing is the doctors didn't seem too surprised by it, so it mustn't be very unusual. If you catch it early in the event it does happen to you, you can probably avoid at least half of the suffering. xD
Yeah that's not surprising. It's like a really exhausting horror movie in your pants lol. I didn't work before, I managed to get hooked up with a clerical sort of job with some flexibility. It can still get pretty frustrating to deal with though, I definitely couldn't handle a proper work place in my current state. It actually doesn't feel that heavy duty, but my liver still probably thinks it is LOL so yeah.
OTC sleep meds are hit and miss for me, but the only time I was on prescription aid they put me on Seroquel to help me sleep, and that knocked me on my a**. I couldn't even function the next day.

I remember when I WalMart was open even on Christmas day..not sure if they still stay open on that day anymore..I had a friend who's bf was stuck working on Christmas day at WalMart. She was so upset about it. Have you taken anything for the cramping? I know Ibuprofin helps. Well it helps me. I always end up taking a couple because my cramps are so severe that they make me not want to move at all. >.< It's horrible. I know it's not easy thinking you're totally worth it while not feeling your absolute best. Trust me though, you're a awesome friend which makes you worth it. You have a boyfriend that loves you so much which makes you worth it. He loves you for who you are as a person and for everything that you are. Stay strong, you can do this. emotion_bigheart *huggles*

I was on my monthly earlier this month- it started out fine, albeit a bit heavy, but it got really bad. I ended up having to go to the doctor, I had terrible anemia and they had me double up on my birth control to try to get it to stop. I was bedridden for a week and a half with constant migraines, heart palpitations, threw up my supplements a time or two, and I was just physically very weak. It was scary. emotion_0A0 I'm sorry yours is being so cruel, no matter how bad it is it's a total pain in the a**. emotion_drool Thank you. Yeah I've got some Christmas shopping to do, but it's mostly other stuff. The room is a complete mess from when I was bleeding profusely and I haven't gotten the chance to clean up, I have to write the christmas cards for work and get them sent out by 5pm today (I still have a lot to go, probably about 90 or so), I've got to send out personal Christmas cards, I missed doing the passed two events for the guild and I'm 90% sure not everyone's received all of their Halloween prizes... it's all just a mess. I feel so bad about all of it. crying
Nah,, unfortunately OTC painkillers rarely do anything for me. I have some hydrocodone (it's like a generic vicodin) but I'd rather not take it unless I'm really hurting.

I'm in a weird mixed state. The holidays/all of the anon gift giving here on Gaia have me in good spirits, but I'm also trying to get a ton of irl stuff done which has me stressed to high hell, and I'm also not feeling too well physically (back really hurts, pretty exhausted, mild headache and hot flashes). sweatdrop

Aww, Well hopefully by the time you visit your family, you'll be feeling much better. I'm sorry your boyfriend won't be able to spend the holidays with you and your family. Will ya'll be spending much time afterwards? I really do hope that everything goes well with you and your family. Thank you, I am really hoping so too. I feel very unstable at the moment and have been literally hanging on. It's quite hard, especially since I live with my dad and he doesn't understand..or can't grasp it.
