Meer Campbell was a girl who Dullindal used to imitate Lacus Clyne, due to her enermous influence over the people of PLANT. Meer herself seems very cheerful, but deep down inside she admires and is maybe even jealous of Lacus. She wants the attention that people give Lacus, and was born very similar to her. Even Athrun had trouble believing that Lacus to be a fake. Meer pulls a concert to raise ZAFT's spirits and seems to be very successful. We have glimpses of her own custom painted Zaku warrior.

Meer Campbell didn't always look like Lacus, infact she used to have blackish hair with very small eyes. Dullindal imposed surgery to make her look like Lacus.

At first, we get the impression
of Meer falling in love with
Athrun Zala, which later
on does happen. Meer's obsession
with Athrun is tremendous. She
tries so hard to make Athrun
fall for her, but we all know
Athrun is in love only
with Cagalli Yula Athha. But this
doesn't stop Meer from trying.
But later on in the episodes,
Meer gets killed and dies.
So nothing went between Meer
and Athrun.
