Hey fellow Gains!
My name's Matthew. I was born in Australia and moved into England at about the age of 7. Having left for Singapore at 16, I have lived in both places for about half and half of my life; with that, I had found my own place in both countries.
However, with me so far away now from my previous friends, I can only hope to move on and make more friends as I proceed in the nearing end of my education before university.
The truth is, I have settled in the school here much better than in the one back in UK. I am now more confident in conversing with people and those people within the community I am now in have been very welcoming. It will be a shame to leave so many of them behind...
Anyway, now living in Singapore, I have turned 17 during last summer and am now proceeding through IB in hopes of going to a university in Australia.
Though I was once frequently active on this online community during the time I spent in UK, IB has left me with less time for the more simplistic leisures of which I'd normally participate. With this in mind; I am happy to hear from people around though I may not be replying with any haste as other things will have taken up my time.
Hope to hear from some of you Gaians, old and new.
