Yeap it was based on the manga~ the manga itself has 3 different stories but I'm not gonna spoil the story to ya~ So enjoy the anime ^^

Bear in mind, there're two kinds of Blood: Blood+ and Blood: The Last Vampire...The latter has a more darker atmosphere than Blood+ but it was great...too bad it was only a movie ><
