Adventures of the Jellicle Queen...

Welcome to the Gaia page of the Jellicle Queen.

The first thing you need to know about me is that I am very obsessed with both The Phantom of the Opera and Cats. I saw Phantom a little over a year ago on March 18, 2008, and my life has not been the same since. I will be seeing Cats on August 20, 2009, and I cannot wait! My favorite Jellicles are Macavity - whom I think needs to go to the dentist - and the Rum Tum Tugger. Coming in at a close second are Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer.

One of my major hobbies is singing, and I have been taking private voice lessons for a little over two years now. It was officially two years on March 10, 2009. I am currently working on Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom, but my goal is to be able to sing Think of Me, which is also from Phantom. Since the highest note in the song is a B-flat, I am using two songs that are lower in range as "stepping-stones" to the song. Those songs are I Could Have Danced All Night and Falling In Love With Love. I am going to feel so proud of myself when I finally sing Think of Me for the first time.

Big News This Week:

1. As of six o'clock Monday night, I am officially going to my city's Green Day concert! This is a Dream-Come-Tre (typo on purpose) for me because I've wanted to go to a Green Day concert since 2006 - when I first became a fan of their music. The concert is on August 24th, and I'm really looking forward to it because it isn't just my first Green Day concert. It's my first concert, period.

2. Also on Monday, my computer crashed. We don't know why or how it happened, but I'm happy to say my computer is back to normal for the most part.

28. Want Billie/Mike/Tre to be happy (as in, not wanting their families to separate, although some already have).
29. Have listened to Green Day songs 24/7 AT LEAST ONCE!
