Laugh at sobriety's pedestal, & chastity's mistaken vow that innocence equates virginity. Reset your mind. Play dress up. Hurt the ones you love. Smash everything of meaning to you. Obtain life on a higher plane. Live in a parallel universe. Reality isn't real. Our setting is built upon our lies. A meaningful life is a fairytale. We're chasing after futility. We enjoy the process, not the achievement. We never actually achieve anything, anyway. It's not about where we're going, & it's not about how we're getting there... It's about how & what we're doing right now & right here.

... Because the infinite is off limits until you get there. The perpetual grinds away this very moment. The end if unending, & the finite is this air within my lungs & the need for more.

"Once, when I was very little, my father told me that numbers had no end..." Numbers really do have no end, & that shouldn't bother us. This plane of experience shouldn't bother us so much, as it will come & go. Leaders rise, kingdoms fall, music reigns, tears will flow, & the infinite will keep laughing at the silly stipulations of young men and women at times in their lives when they fear their own legacy, their own memory, & the hours they will spend before departure.

What comes... will come. What should leave will leave. Bad hands will be dealt, good fortunes will shine. To shrink away from experience, however futile, ultimately wastes the moment. To not live and love one another... Just seems like a horrible waste of an opportunity to laugh in the face of that void.


... So give up. So keep going. Run away. Pack your bags & run just run asfastasyoucan. Let the screen door hit you. Let the air hit you. Breathe, breathe. Take it all in pushitallout. Get pity. Get attention. Get love. Get care. Get hands. Get stares. Get looks. Get kisses. Get late nights in arms. Touch your defenses. Quit your job & your masquerade. See the world. See the earth. Go on a safari. Touch a lion. Pet a tiger. Kiss an elephant. Live in a haunted house. Be haunted. See a ghost. See the beauty of being alive. Be inspired. Be inspirational. Walk slower breathe walk faster. Run to your life. Be held up at gunpoint. Run for your life. Know that you're loved & adored. Forget the past. Forget this voice forget this downward spiral forget this fragility forget this fate forget this despair.
