-Elk: a character from the .hack video game series. He is a Wavemaster and a member of the .hackers, the name given to those who helped Kite save The World during the Twilight Incident. Elk is shy and generally prefers to work alone. Elk is a Wavemaster, a magic-using class within the .hack series, he bears a resemblance to Tsukasa's from .hack//Sign.

-Endrance: also known as "The Temptress," is a character within the .hack G.U. series. His avatar is a Blade Brandier, and is acknowledged as a powerful player, even by other powerful players of The World R:2. He is also as an AIDA-PC (Artificially Intelligent Data Anomaly playable character), or a character infected by a virus that has several affects on the player's computer and may take over the character itself. Endrance is cold and shows little interest in other players. The only one he shows any emotion to in the game is Mia, a small cat who can usually be found perched on his shoulder. Endrance is basically the same person as the player Elk.
