With that in mind, I will not speak about myself knowing that at best that it can be nothing more than what I think I am. I will instead speak on what I wish I was and... what I no longer want to be.
I would love if I was able to sleep at what most consider normal times, instead of only being able to when I pass out at 3:30-4:00 in the morning. I wish to be a person that would give his all, even his life, for his friends and those that he loves. I wish to be a person that is easier to read. I never want to be numb as I have been for the years past again. I feel... I fear, I hurt, and I hate.
I wish to be able to love.
I have done much soul searching in the time that I have spent living and I know that though I may not know everything there is to know, not even about myself, I am comfortable with who I am. I am comfortable who who I will be and who I will eventually be with. I am not, however, comfortable with the person that I was. My focus in life has become to continually improve myself not only as a human being but as a poet and writer. Eventually, I hope to be able to look at myself in the mirror and smile freely at the thought of being a parent. Today, I usually frown in fear of becoming what my own father, what my own mother was to me.
One day...
