... I don't believe skipping school was a good idea... I can ramble on why, as much as you hate it, there are reasons why you should go - But I'm not going to start blabbering the "same old, same old" that you always hear from me when it comes to school.

I too know what Ignorance has when it comes to schools.
Buildings full of people that show only ignorance, and will say anything, or tag along with anything, and even believe anything if they think it'll get them a higher status with the pupils, like popular and stuff, people buying 'em stuff to get their respect, etc etc.
I've also lived with it, as you have. It is indeed rather sad how low people will get just to have their own way. I even know a story of a teenager who got murdered just because this girl wanted this guy as her boyfriend.
Just ignore what they say, like you have. You know the truth about him, he knows the truth about him and that's all that counts, right?

I doubt he'd be disappointed, by the person you've described, but he might blame himself for not being there, and hate your mother <___>
Still, it's better to tell the truth rather than lie, or hide it, as that can eventually lead to worse things.
