I didn't get much candy, but I have a lot of chocolate left over from the kids that never showed up at out door.

I thought about making a crazy scientist costume (throwing fake blood on my lab coat). But the fake blood that I found wasn't made for clothes, and supposedly stains them.
Real lab coats aren't really that cheap.
I'm too old to trick or treat (no one would take me seriously) and I'm afraid of being the only one in class wearing a costume. What's worse: The professor that I have class with that day has panic attacks with halloween costumes (strange, I know).
So unless something shows up... I'll be eating the candy that was supposed to be for the kids that show up at our door. And my mother keeps reminding me I don't have plans by asking everyday if I have plans.
I'm not really in a hurry to move in with my boyfriend. Not that I don't like him enough, it's that I want us both to have stable jobs and finished college so that we don't have to be caring about expenses in the first years.

College wasn't freedom for me.
In Brazil it's not normal for people to start living alone as soon as they complete high school.
Since my city has a major university I continued living with my mother and here in the US I'm living with her too because I came because of her job.
Of course it's a great learning opportunity for me.
But college was good because I got to meet more people like me.
People that aren't really part of any major classification, like science and have a strange sense of humor.
I'm a chemistry major, everyone who is actually pursuing chemistry as a career (and not simply chemistry as a way to get to med school) is kind of crazy in a good, fun way.
