| art (in my experience) is the only thing that has no limits, especially drawing i think. in life you meet all kinds of barriers, in drawings you can even defy the laws of nature. there's always something you think you'll never get to see, something that can't be told or showed in any way, and there's absolutely no way anyone could be able to draw or paint it, but in the end someone does, and seeing that picture might even change your life. everything around us has it's limits, words, sculptures, buildings, our selves, but if drawing has limits, then we haven't reached them. maybe we'll never do. art speaks to all people in it's own way.
that's what makes me draw, the feeling that i can always get better, that the world i enter when i draw has no limits, everything is possible. to me it's like some drug, everything looks different, i have no sense of time, i don't feel pain (i've often discovered when i've finished my drawing that my wrist hurts like ****), i don't get tired, emotions just aren't like in the "real world". it's like escaping reality or something. |

I always like drawing our D&D characters; it helps me envision them and practice sketching different things consistently. It seems to help sometimes when you redraw something cuz we're always improving, right? Plus you're getting so awesome on tablet, go for it! :3
