About Kaoru Hitachiin..

He's the younger of the two Hitachiin Brothers who attend Ouran Academy. Quieter and Calmer than his twin brother, Hikaru, Kaoru is the less tempered of the two and is always up for a prank with his brother. Kaoru is very close to Hikaru and wouldn't trade their relationship for anything-he even has chosen to give up his chance at a "Romantic Relationship" with Haruhi because he values his brother much more, so instead he choses to love Haruhi as a friend and allows Hikaru to be the twin to love her Romantically.
