Let me start by admitting that I am a total, complete idiot with no respect for the powers that be. I'm sure that if I weren't a moron and actually did have respect for the forces of nature, I'd still have my iPod. But, nooo, I had to tempt fate by setting my full glass of water on the arm of the couch, and then setting my iPod right next to it... Stupid me, didn't even think, hey, that glass is bad enough, but at least if you don't set your mp3 player next to it, you won't have been doubly stupid! Nope. Didn't even cross my mind. Next thing I know, my hand bumps the glass, tips it over, pours water all over my currently on Sony Walkman brand mp3 player and out goes the display. It hasn't turned on since. ... *cry* I miss it!
