My vest took me about 7 hours [it's studded front that's shown and the entire upper portion of the back]. It's pretty damn time-consuming.
If you do, I highlyyy suggest needle nose pliers, they're what I used; some studs are wayy too ******** stubborn to be budged by hands alone. @_@
