You can call me Des, or Descry, or something else if you know me more personally. I'm not too picky, as long as you're not a stranger and it's something stupid. No one likes that, I don't think.
I'm probably older than most of you - older than 18, younger than 25, so that narrows it down quite a bit. I currently go to college, work, and have a life - in short, I'm busy a lot of the time.
I was married December 7th, 2007 to Mingish. Yes, in real life. Thank you. =)
I have kind of on-crack emotions. No, no, I'm not ON crack, but they do fluctuate kind of a lot.
I'm not the most open person if I've just met you. Even if I've known you for quite some time, more often than not I won't be comfortable talking about a lot of personal things with you. Please, please don't take this too close to heart; I'm just generally not very comfortable sharing my deeper emotions with people I don't know extremely well. As a person, I just tend to "click" more with certain individuals than I do with others. I don't pick and choose who I feel comfortable with, but I'm just more prone to some people more than others. Everyone is, nothin' new here, but please don't interrogate me about my personal life. =) That's just awkward for everyone~
I'm blunt and I'm curious. I know, it's an awful combination. I try not to be a real jerk, but sometimes...I do come across as one, I know. Please, please take everything I say lightly - I know that I can come off as a little bit...Stand-offish, but I promise you: 99.9% of the time, I am seriously not trying to be a pain.

Trying to impress me will get you nowhere. =)
Whining will not get you pity. I've seen things that the average person my age will not until they've aged a good fifty years or so. I've been, done, experienced, and felt things that are unpleasant; some of you will understand, the majority of you won't. Don't push it, just know that I won't pity you for something ridiculous, and that I will often throw around terms such as "Don't take what you have for granted". =) Words to live by.
●Gaia-wise.●
I've been on Gaia since around '04. So that's...Four years now, Five around late June. It's pretty crazy, I know! I wasn't really active until early '06, though, so I'm not as hardcore as I appear to be. (At least not by Gaian standards, anyway.)
I enjoy messages and suchlike. :3 Those are good, just know what you're saying beforehand. Those random "OH HI" and like, that's it PMs are a little...Irritating, to say the least. I mean, you ought to have something to say to me before you start talking to me. Only makes sense, right? Right.
I like signs, and bits of origami. Anything weird with my name on it would be nice, actually - cakes, ovens, your car, french toast with my face on it - anything and everything. Feel free to express your love for me in any way shape or form. :'D

Well, I do a lot of things. I work, and I'm in college - as you know, from the above text wall - and I'm married. As well, right now I'm working on a novel series, a graphic novel of said novel series, and a heck of a lot of art in general. The art course I'm taking in college is a bit of a grueling one. Needless to say, sometimes I'm in a bit over my head.
Job-wise, I currently work full time 9AM - 5PM (roughly), every week day. In summer, I get on the night shift and work during those wee-hours of the morning until about 10 AM.
I know, they're the greatest hours ever, right? Right.
I work with a bunch of cool people; we've kind of got a sick sense of humor. Don't ask. It's. You won't be able to handle it or understand. It's a very special sort of thing. Men rolling up their shirts to reveal a second face after saying the phrase, "Wanna see somethin' cool?" isn't generally something most people find hilarious.
Neither are Cenineeners.
I like more things than I have skin cells, so I'm going to make a short, general list as opposed to a long paragraph like I have with the other things.
