Well, not necessarily. I'm not sure how Death plans to set up the RP board(s), but there may well be a section focused entirely on the Royals' area of the Kingdom- the castle or palace or whatever- in which case it would be perfectly plausible to carry on an RP with only Royals (and those close to them) and the non-vamps (especially when we have so few players). But I agree, I think it is more interesting to mix it up.
I'm not sure there are any rival (vampire) kingdoms, but then again there's no harm asking Death about it, so if that's the character you want you should go for it! XD
Sweet! I think in total we have two non-royal vampires- Decae and a young woman, but they're both close to the Royals somehow. Actually, I'm not positive the woman is a full-blooded vampire. She may be a mix.
