It's really sad, because nowadays you can't even be sure who's "real" or not. =/
And sadly, Minho (my used to be favorite) of my all time favorite Korean boy band, SHINee got one in April.
But the sad thing is... HE DIDN'T EVEN WANT IT. SM Entertainment is famous for their poor treatment of their idols and their attempts at doing ANYTHING to get money, and that means PERFECT LOOKING IDOLS.
They MADE him get it, and he didn't really have much of a say in that matter because he basically signed over his soul to them (like the rest of SME's idols). TcryingT
SO in a sense, I still respect him.
But yeah, the Ullzang thing or w.e did start in Korea. It's a scary thing. And yeah, I've lost almost all interest in Asian culture as well, but like you said, I still love their fashion, artworks, music, etc.
I remember hearing and looking up this one Korean girl (forgot her name) who got a nose job, eyelid surgery, and (I think) something to reshape her jaw line (?) and also a boob job.
Hideous fake celebs.
And what about someone who fell in love with a plastic person like one of them but didn't have any idea of what they looked like before? All I have to say is that they may be pretty disappointed when they have kids with that person and the kid doesn't turn out as drop dead gorgeous like they thought it would. :/
