Hello I'm Mortalis, Detective, conspiracy theorist, and all around sleuth. I pride myself on my skills of deduction and observation. I am not widely known around Gaia as I mostly stick to the mini-shops and threads my friends are in. If you see me sometime outside of these places it is most likely that someone in that thread is under one of my many investigations, which I do frequently. I do not only investigate people I see as a threat, I also investigate people I find interesting and people I think my be able to help me. I have many informants throughout all the major parts of Gaia, from the GD, to the interchange, to towns, so don't think you can go beyond my influence.
My philosophy is that A is A. This is the fundamental truth I live by. I also believe there are connections where no one would expect. I see them where others do not. This has brought around the thought by many that I have apophenia. A psychological symptom where one sees connections in random or meaningless data where none truly exists. A have taken on this mantle but rediffined it's meaning. I see connections in supposedly random data that no one else can detect. Such as the fact that girl scouts are behind the crop circle phenomenon and that fluoride toothpaste does not actually stop tooth decay but does render teeth detectable by spy satellite. All of my theories can be linked back to an over all theory, Since ancient Egypt their has been a single cabal of powerful individuals directing the course of human history, but the common man prefers to believe they don’t exist. Which aids their success.
I am a proud member of The Order of Midnight, an Edmund support guild in line with his goals of protecting Gaia. This is why I can almost always be seen wearing my black orchid brooch. I am a member of many other guilds and I am proud to be a member of every single one.
I am currently in college working on a degree in Criminal Justice. My goal is to be a real Detective. A few of my likes are The show House, Avatar the last air bender, and FMA. I also like most other anime. I enjoy talking to people and learning about them. One of my favorite hobbies is Reading. I like reading fantasy books and Detective stories, stuff like LOTR and Sherlock Holmes. I am a true and loyal friend. So if you mess with one of my friends, you mess with me. My favorite colors are copper and gray.
