Meeting new people is cool. However, there are so many things that I am uncomfortable with, so I am somewhat wary about making friends in Gaia.
If you draw and love art, we have something in common.

But let's not talk about BL.
And if we don't talk to each other, what's the point of being friends? (That is, unless I know you from the real world.)
So although I am not reluctant to make friends in Gaia, I am very comfortable with deleting people off my friends list, too. ^^
