KILLING THE DEAD
While destroying a zombie may be simple, it is far from easy. Zombies require none of the physiological functions that humans need to survive. Destruction or severe damage of the circulatory, digestive, or respiratory system would do nothing to a member of the walking dead, as these functions no longer support the brain. Simply put, there are thousands of ways to kill a human-and only one to kill a zombie. The brain must be obliterated, by any means possible.
The sniper rifle is a excelent way to survive a zombie attack but only for those with a clear mind, steady hand and great patience. If a shot is lined up correctly one bullet can take out up to twenty zombies, as recorded. A fast reloading time is crucial due to the fact you have a large number of targets on one feild. Snipers are usely found sitting in the back away from danger as they silently take out there enemy but some more courageous snipers are know to be on the front lines, even though this method is more dangerouse it promises a higher rate of accuracy when fireing and a larger kill count in the end.
A secondary weapon is manditory when fighting a zombie horde. SMGs (Sub Machine Guns) are a great way to fight off surronding hordes when in a tight situation. Like the Sniper Rifle, when the SMG is lined up correctly one quick spray can easily kill any zombies that just happen to conveniently be surronding you. SMGs are considerably easy to reload but must be reloaded often due to the fact that they are automatic weapons and thus waiste a some what large amount of ammo.
A Meele weapon is highly suggested to have handy. Some survivors perfer to have a meele weapon with a long reach so they that they may stay as far away from the zombie it's self as possible but often you will miss and cause your self trouble with a zombie that you thought was dead but really you just cut off one of its arms. Some of the more wreckless survivors like to be sure the zombie is dead by attaching a wrist blade. So as the zombie lunges forward to attack them they can simple unstore the wrist blade, that is usely kept in the lower sleeve for conveince purposes, and put there fist out where the zombie would be lunging at quickly but not so cleanly destroying the brain. If you are going to use this method be sure to
Wear Gloves and Some Kind of Mask. Also the wrist blade method is good for decapitating the Zombie or stabbing the Undead inbetween the eyes causeing instant brain destruction. WARNING USEING THIS KIND OF MEELE WEAPON IS VERY DANGEROUSE!
Solanum is 100 percent communicable and 100 percent fatal. Fortunately, for the human race, the virus is neither waterborn nor airborne. Humans have never been known to contract the virus from elements in nature. Infection can occur only through direct fluidic contact. A zombie bite, although by far the most recognizable means of transference, is by no means the only one. Humans have been infected by brushing their open wounds against those of a zombie or by being splattered by its remains after an explosion. Ingestion of infected flesh (provided the person has no open sores), however, results in permanent death rather than infection. Infected flesh has been proven to be highly toxic.
No information-historical, experimental, or otherwise-has surfaced regarding the results of sexual relations with an undead specimen, but as previously noted, the nature of Solanum suggest a high danger of infection. Warning against such an act would be useless, as the only people deranged enough to try would be unconcerned for their own safety. Many have argued that, given the congealed nature of undead bodily fluids, the changes of infection from a non-bite contact should be low. However, it must be remembered that even one organism is enough to begin the cycle.
Solanum is fatal to all living creatures, regardless of sex, species, or ecosystem. Reanimation, however, takes place only in humans. Studies have shown that Solanum infecting a non-human brain will die within hours of the death of its host, making the carcass safe to handle. Infected animals expire before the virus can replicate through their bodes. Infection from insect bites such as from mosquitoes can slo be discounted. Experiments have proven that all parasitic insects can sense and will reject an infected host 100 percent of the time.
