Who am I?
Welcome to my profile. For those who don't know me, or wish to get to know me, please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Danial and I am college student from Canada. My age is 22... a bit old for GAIA but it is one of the few forms of entertainment I have other than my Wii and PS2 and Gameboy DS.
Videogames are my main hobby. I would hope to someday be able to design and create my own video games someday. I also enjoy writing and taking my hand at trying to draw if I ever find the courage (because I am one terrible drawer. Lol!). I also like to listen to music, mostly instrumental or flute music, but I also listen to a variety of other kinds of music ranging from country to metal/rock.
I like watching comedies, sci-fi, drama(especially shakespeare), adventure and action, and even a guys worst nightmare... chickflicks... but only sometimes... or when I am forced against my will by my younger sister.
My favorite activity to do on GAIA is to play the zOMG! game or RP with my friends on the forums or via PMs. I also enjoy playing Guildwars, Fable, Heroes V, StarCraft, and I am hoping to someday get the World of WarCraft and the New WarHammer games for the PC. I like pizza, dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, basically all kinds of animals except a few parasitical insects, I also like the friends I have made on GAIA, I like anime too... to an extent, and it is probably very obvious that I love videogames, writing, and music.
My major like though... is mythology, of all kinds. I like talking about it when I get the chance. So if you like mythology as well, please feel free to talk to me about it... because I love mythology. ^^
I also have pet-peeves and massive dislikes. My major ones are of the following:
-Racism (both in person and online). I hate it with a passion!
-Prejudice (same as above). I have had my share of being bullied and teased through out my childhood and I do not tolerate such things online or in real life. I may only be me, but I believe the saying 'you cannot judge a book by its cover' has alot of meaning when you think about other people. People are like books... until you look inside to see their story... you really aren't in the liberity to judge them... no matter what you may think. Get to know a person first then make your judgement... or better yet... just get to know the person and withold any and all judgements period.
Those really are my only two major dislikes... but for others they entail; Spinach casserole, physics, caulliflower, ticks, animal abuse, and I think that is all.
On a final note I should let you all know that I am massively shy, both in real life and online. My birthday is on July 19th. I do not have any pictures of myself or a webcam hooked up to my computer. I am straight... not bi or gay. And my favorite color is light green- light blue mix... and silver. ^^

Is there any character you've been itching to use in an RP? ^ ^

I only read them when I'm bored, and only if they have really good grammar and stuff though; if I get bored in the first few sentences, I usally try and find another. :/ But I have read quite a lot that are actually really good~
And I'd be more than happy to draw him; it'd give me more practice with my new tablet. :3

My class is a bit different than that; we actually draw out the animations, like for cartoons and stuff like that. :3 Which, that's basically what the entire class is about: Animating your artwork so that you can possibly make cartoons in the future. It's very tedious, having to draw pictures frame by frame by fram over and over again until you get a simple animation, but well worth the process in the end to see your character walk across the screen or do something else like that. ^ ^
Currently, though, I am experimenting with the way that Nagas and Merpeople move, by animating their tails and such~
And yeah, it's a lot of fun learning how to make stuff move around~
And aw, that sucks. D: Hopefully you get to go back one day for that? ; n ;
Biology is really fascinating to me. 8D Since I really like learning about stuff concerning nature~
I've been doing okay; learning how to do animation in Flash, due to a course I am taking this year. :3 It's actually been very interesting, and I'm having a bunch of fun with it; we're working on a big project right now, actually.
