Just Some Details
Well, how to begin? Lets see...
I guess I should start off with who I am. I'm a student in a high school - class of 2010. People would probably think of me as a bit of a nerd, but in a good way. Being a nerd isn't a bad thing in this day of age. The biggest thing in my life would probably have to be my school life, which I enjoy very much, well except for one class, but I won't get into that.
My favorite school organization is HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America), where I'm going on my third year with. I was a regional treasurer last year, but this year I'm acting as parliamentarian at the local level so I actually get to do something. I have competed in Medical Terminology each year, though, unfortunately I did not do so well this year. But, this only means I've got to try harder and become better, and that is what HOSA is about. Improving your skills so you may one day actually use them in a health-related career.
My biggest disappointment though is realizing I'm over half way done with high school. After I graduate, more responsibilities are going to be dumped onto me and off to college at either University of South Florida or University of Florida. That will be an awesome adventure, but I don't want it to come too soon.

For a short period of time, I'll also be doing pencil sketches for people.
Details -
- I can do head and torso, but I will not be doing legs. I'll admit they're not exactly up to par with the rest of the drawing. >.<;
- This is for my own practice, plus a little profit. I only ask for 1000 for heads and 2,500 for head and torso. I hope that isn't too much, really. <.<;
- They will not be in color. These are just done in pencil, so it will be in shades of gray.
-I'll probably do best with themed avatars.
- PM me if your interested. Just include some general information on what your looking for, and I'll do my best to get it done.

Yay~ I'm still close to the top of your comment list x3 I haven't really been on Gaia in a super long time, but I'm back with a new avatar =D Anywho (returning to the month-old conversation xD ) I found out recently that there is a HOSA at my school! They don't advertise much, but they're running a food drive this month and that's how I found out mrgreen I also switched from National Honor Society to Key Club razz The latter is way more active at my school~
But how are things with you? :3 Is the HOSA club at your school running a food drive, as well?
Me and Rock (who has been eating mushrooms in the wilderness) have reason to think that Tenshi's ghost is haunting the town, so we think that we four (including Nyrk) should go a-ghost huntin'.
(Pretty much all this entitles is a minor plot in the Dear Diary thread and quite possibly a parody of the Ghostbusters poster)

Exciting news: I enrolled in Latin on Florida Virtual School! (Well... this probably doesn't sound exciting to most people x3) I wanted to learn it for quite some time, but my school didn't offer it. Taking it online for free is like a dream come true, lol. (Oh, and getting high school credit for it is pretty awesome, too =P )
Actually, I'm supposed to be directing normal traffic, like cars. At least, I'm aiming for that kinda look. xD

Ah, that's a bummer. Maybe you can go on one with a group? (Citrus County is in Florida right? I don't think I ever passed through there since I live in Miami-Dade razz )
Boys State? I don't think I've ever heard of that... maybe because it has to do with guys? xD Ah, but you gave me an idea... maybe I should look for some programs I can do at UF or something~ A friend was telling me about an FIU program during summer, but I haven't really looked into it yet.

I love reading/drawing too! What genre of books do you read?
I tend to enjoy adventure/horror/scifi novels~ With fantasy! And magic! And yaoi! Lotsa yaoi.

Oh, my guidance counselor gave me the QuestBridge website to go to~ I forgot all about it! >w< I'll go bookmark it right now! It's so cool that you got to spend time on those campuses; was it during a summer program or something like that?
I know a few people who have gone on college road trips. It's just when you go with a family member or friend to colleges all over the country to see which ones you like. How many is up to you though :3

Have you gone on a college road trip/tour yet? I really want to do one this summer coming up, but I'll most likely get to go to UF this spring break ^o^ I'm realy not sure if I want to stay in Florida though... I'm kind of looking at JHU or an Ivy League (dream schools x3 ).
