My parents see dating as a type of experience too, so they don't mind it.
My dad asks me that all the time too, only he WANTS me to get a guy.

Besides, they think I can handle it.

I don't see any problem with not dating at a young age, though; it is a huge responsibility.
There's a lotta drama, a lotta mistakes to be made.
So I'm not against the elders' views on that.
Either way, you don't have to worry about it, right?

Well, the "lucky" thing wasn't really meant to be that deep.
"Lucky"; "fortunate"; "happy" even.
A simpler way of saying it is that I'd be happy for you two.
"Lucky" because you finally found someone that you'd be very content with. Just what I chose to emphasis, but I coulda used a bunch of words where I used "lucky".
Don't worry too much about it.

My writing is seen differently by each person; they associate the literal meaning of whatever word I use out of place with the meaning they think it takes in the sentence I used it in. So comprehend them however you think they should be comprehended.

It's okay; it's good that you know to ask when you don't understand.
I don't think you truly understand how good of a trait that is.
Besides, I use English very fluidly; very poetically. It's not someone who's not extremely familiar with the language would always understand.

And actually, good point; my parents don't know about Parker yet. I know they won't have a problem, though; I'll tell them when the time comes.

I guess you can say I'm just not patient enough for that. I like taking risks in relationships, because I like the experience that comes with it. But everyone is different.
