See, though I often memorize for tests too, I don't like doing that.
Because you don't need to memorize something you've learnt, right? If you understand it, you know it. And if you know it, you've learnt it.

My point of view is that if I have to be in school, I might as well be learning something; so I aim to understand and not to memorize.

Take your time with the editting. It's already handed in, so no rush.

I have a lotta confidence, I know my stuff... until I go into the room and look at the paper.
Than I blank and get butterflies in my stomach. It's always a rocky start.
But then I gradually say "Hey, this isn't so bad!"
And it always seems to work.

And don't worry about getting kicked off. I'm studying over here for a test tomorrow.
I've decided to try even harder for school than what I already do, and just saying it won't accomplish anything, so I'm studying hard for this one.

We had our honour roll banquet today. We have a grade academic highest award for both male and female; they pick the top five averages, and then the winner. I didn't make it into the top five for my grade, so there's still a lot of room for improvement, right?

I don't study nearly as much as you think I do.
xD

Lately, in the past month, I went down 3% overall, in four classes.
That means 12% in four classes. I can't forgive that.
Worst of all, I can no longer bring it back up. We're too far into the year and too much has been accomplished.
I need to really step it up and pull myself together.
I've been too relaxed and I don't like that, so we'll see.

But I usually never study; only some last minute stuff for tests. And that's not working out too well, so my note-taking, as well as my study ethics, will have to change.
I've known it for a while, just never got around to it. This 12% drop was the anvil I needed, though.

And it's not like I'll only be studying. I do detest school for someone with my grades.

I'm not sure what I want to do with the business yet. I need more specific details. Someone's going to come in and speak to us about it.
And I really don't care about the money.

Our city has this opportunity for students aged 15 - 29. We get funded $1500 from a company to start our own business during our summer vacation, and we keep all the money that we make. If we go through with it (some people don't), we get an additional $1500 at the end. You even get to meet with professionals to discuss the direction of your business. I'm really keen on doing it; much better than any other job, and it sounds like a promising experience.
