Hail travelers, my name is Nymph. I've been on Gaia Online since March 22, 2004 and have established myself as a person who is bitter and cynical about humanity. And yes, I tend to have a snarky attitude in some of my responses. Aside from being on this site, my cousin and I have a website in which we talk about some projects we planned on doing. Whether or not any of the projects actually take place sort of depends now that we no longer live close to each other.
I have been an avid quester of mostly rare and expensive oddities due to a goof during my first year of being here and now it has gotten to the point where I can only do things in stride. My friend who first introduced me to Gaia (and has been my band buddy during middle school) decided to join forces with me by creating a super fantastic quest thread. It would be wonderful if you check it out and give us a hand. Despite my outward attitude towards most things in life I decided to establish a petition because quite frankly Gaia practically urges us to do so by providing the petition subforum. So go check out the petition to see what I'm bothering Gaia with this time.
As far as likes, I can only say that I am a total gamer and when I am not bothered by college work I am known to waste brain cells on videogames. I use to like anime and manga but I pretty much out grew it; not to mention most anime tends to suck anyway. My taste in music varies but I am definitely a lover of Oldies Rock N' Roll. I don't particularly care for television anymore since there's literally nothing interesting to watch except for maybe Deadliest Catch and Mythbusters. I will also adamantly admit to hating movies now a days for the fact that people insist on rebooting series that don't need to be rebooted, remaking things that are a lot worse than the original, making live action movies on cartoons/videogames/novels that I loved but the movie ends up sucking, and over all just having little to no imagination for their script including the god damn movie title .
I am currently studying the Russian language and have high school Japanese under my belt. I want to make Russian my second language and once I'm done studying it I hope to go back and review my Japanese since I am slowly forgetting it. I also play several musical instruments such as the piano, clarinet, violin, and guitar.
Regardless how I may act or seem based on my posts in the forums, I can be a nice and outgoing person. I just have an obscenely low tolerance for stupidity. But that does not mean I will not respond back to anyone who leaves a message in my comments area; although it does not mean I will be nice in response. It sort of depends on what you say to me. And if you want to, you may patch me as long as you let me know so I can patch you back out of courtesy. And at least do me the favor of letting me know why you're even bothering to send me a friends list request. There's just too many of you who randomly send these things and I'm not even sure if I've spoken to you once before.
