I was the horn section leader in band. I'm a band geek, horse freak, animal lover, and anime nerd. What can I say? There's so much out there, it's impossible to like just 1 thing! I may be one of your best friends you'll ever have. Well, if ya wanna know more about me, talk 2 me! <3

Those aren't even all new singers.

And WOW. LIKE ALL OF THEM HAD NOSE JOBS. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

In Asian History class I learned that they made fun of european noses in the past, but now they're trying to imitate them! LOL.

That's so sick. They've built up this impossible dream and expectation for their society, no wonder people break their knees for longer legs and think surgery to get eyelids is totally normal. And yet these same people sit there and say they are proud to be asian and whatnot, but they completely throw away their true selves in an attempt to look perfect. D: It's sad.

Oh and, Ullzang I think it's called started in Korea if I'm not mistaken? So it's not just Japan that is caught up in it.

I'm just sick of all that fakeness, which is why I've lost so much interest in asian culture. I used to think it was unique and cool, but now it just sickens me. I still love their art styles, old Japanese prints are lovely. And their fashion is cool, but I'm just so turned off now. I hate that people see those doctored up images of girls gluing their faces together and think "wow they are so pretty!". People don't look like that naturally, all it does is make people feel bad about themselves! Just like anorexic models! Jeeze.

/mini rant O___O; Sorrysorry!!!

Sorry for being so short. I got that message on my handheld and, as you can imagine, it's sort of a challenge to type any moderately-lengthed response. As I was saying, you may tell me if you would like to.

forgive me, I have only had the opportunity to upload the first ten, my upload was cut short by an internet interruption (gotta hate them) and so the 11-15 got corrupted. 1-10 are fine though. I packed them 5 lessons into each download because I know you don't want to wait for one big file to download and no japanese lessons when you have them more than halfway downloaded.

Okay, it'll be on a site called fileden. It's quite a bit of ads you have to go through, but whatever makes it free. I'll give you an info through a pm.

I can only upload a max of 50 megs at one time, so i'm just going to have to pack it and cut it into diff pieces. You do have Winrar, no? -Thanks for your trust btw-

I have been pretty lazy with learning my japanese/german/russian it's been this whole schedule of mine. I will get back on track after vacation as well. Haha, 100s of Kanji... there are thousands of kanji. omg i only wish there were ONLY hundreds of kanji. The korean writing system is simple, but the language is another story. It's slightly easier to learn than japanese but only because it's not as conceptual. Just have your bf with you at all times, you'll be safe. even carry a concealed weapon, only for safe precautions because they only need to succeed once. As for those perverts on the train, make sure your behind is up against a wall, and you have your arms folded over your chest. also, make sure you have a good concentration of women around you, as I doubt they would pull anything funny (lol who knows though xD). Keep your eye on the nearest male.

Just send me a tell once you have finished with the volume. I would like to, once we all learn to, speak strictly japanese online. I have tried so on facebook, but I have found people that I have shared the resources with to be much too lazy. I am sure you are not. Good luck, dear friend.

I could possibly give you the whole set if you're willing to trust me

Well, I do so prefer Pimsleur's just because it's geared more towards 'conversational' japanese rather than japanese for 'getting around' like how to ask where the bathroom is, where's a good hotel, etc. Rosetta stone has its purposes though, it's really interactive and isn't boring. It's a good way to go once you know some japanese already, still good if you don't know any japanese at all. I would recommend it after taking all of Pimsleur or at least after volume 1 of 3. Livemocha's still a good site, I used to use it. It's just a drag though sometimes. Since it's free, it's sorta limited in what it can offer, but it's a great way of meeting foreign-speaking people.

Hah, really? Good opportunity to experience some good Seoul food, imo. Just make sure to get you vaccinations (not saying it's a dirty country), you just might come back with something. I know a few people that tell me that all the time, they travel a lot. This one time, this girl said she went to visit in India and came back with 3 illnesses (not STDs, btw) .

Oh what program are you doing study abroad with to Japan? I would do something like that, but my school, at the moment, only has a short study abroad to China (which would be interesting, but I would much rather go to Japan). What're you majoring in? I, myself, am doing microbiology and a computer science minor (yes, I am a whore). I feel real sad because I would really like to do a business major with foreign language minor but that's a real risky. Seems really appealing, but is a huge gamble.
