So, a lot of things about me have changed over the past few years on Gaia. One thing that hadn't was this section of my profile. It's been almost three years, so, it was time for a change.

When I first posted here, I was 16. Naturally, I thought I knew everything. I tried my hand at debating, but found myself lacking in research, and that I knew nothing about how to debate. (Trunks, I owe you a lot for putting up with me, although you probably don't remember me...it's been a while.)

I've experienced the joy of new friendships, and the tears of sadness as one of those dear friends passed away. I've seen shops come and go, threads start and die, and friendships fade away.

I don't really know how I changed into the person I am today. I still feel the same, but today I looked at my profile and said "Hey, I'm not that person anymore."

Because the person I was three years ago no longer exists.

In the three years I've spent on Gaia, I have overcome homophobia (I kinda had to, as some of my good friends are homosexuals), had my values tested time and time again, and become a more flexible, open-minded person.

I've encountered people I would never have approached IRL, and I have learned from them that people, no matter who they are, what they look like, or how they act, have the same desires and needs at heart...and they're more like me than I would have ever imagined.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you guys, the people that make up Gaia, have left your mark on me. I'm a better person because of you guys, and I want to thank you for that. Each one of you that I've talked to have made an impression on me, and I will treasure that always. I can only hope that I've made as big an impression on you that you have on me.

So, thank you, for everything. I look forward to years to come. I love you guys!

It means that I've been through a lot, most of which I can't talk about because it would betray confidences. Basically, though, I mean that I've learned more about the world and my own self, and that I've been able to become more open-minded because I have seen things through multiple perspectives.

It's funny, you've had your profile changed for a while now and I haven’t read it all before now. Life is about changing, clashing with stuff and people you’ve never though of, having them leave an imprint on them, and seeing what your imprint does to them. Liner existence is living every day off what you learned all the days before that. You have grown, and still are growing. And I’m glad I am a part of that, as I’m sure we all are.
