I know. I mean, Twilight and New Moon and Eclipse had some good, funny parts in it, and they were enjoyable to read.
But they don't really deserve all the hype and all the obsession over it.
I liked them when they first came out. But when they gained popularity, I began to sort of resent them, because they weren't, you know, that good.
And then people started calling Meyer the next J.K. Rowling? Pu-lease.
And the last book? I thought it was a joke. Seriously. I've read better fanfiction.
But there were some cute parts.
Yeah. Like George.
I loved Neville in the book - how he stepped up to become a leader in the rebellion among the students. Totally saw that coming.
I hate to ask...have you read the Twilight saga?
The epilouge...I have mixed feelings. In a way, I also wish she would have been more detailed, so I would know exactly what everyone is doing after the war. But then, that would be a bow-tie ending. It was an ending that left much to the imagination, and interpretation, and felt open, but not so much that left me feeling empty, but just enough that my imagination can wander and some up with my own conclusions. Besides the funky names of Harry's children, I liked it.
Oh my God! Me too!
Sometimes I was really mad at him, but I would just stop and be like 'Dumbledore knew what he was doing, and he loved Harry, and Dumbledore is good'.
I knew he was good! And Snape, too, sort of. Snape is just Snape, and I like that.
I was so mad at Ron when he abandoned Harry and Hermione!
