If that doesn't work, check your downloads for any hacks you might have that weren't updated for Free Time (meaning the ones you have haven't dl's the updates for).

bah, that sucks- i heard there were some problems with free time- you might wanna check out the Sims2 website for the patches. I always bought esp. packs that were never in the order they came out, and then bough backwards so i didn't have to dl patches for anything other than apartment life.
