A little bit about me:
Let's see... I play roleplaying games (including LARPGs), enjoy science fiction, fantasy, and anime, I'm a bit of a geek, I'm crazy but mostly harmless, I'm on full-time disability (long story...), and I don't live in my parent's basement!

I have something of a warped sense of humor that tends toward dry, dark, and deadpan, but I'm not one to play practical jokes as a rule. I tend to wear a lot of black, but I'm not really a Goth; I don't like to be out in sunlight, but I'm not a vampire; I'm clever, but not arrogant about it; and I try to be a basically decent person. (Now if only I could succeed all the time...)

I play Final Fantasy XI on the Seraph servers, so if you meet a Mithra named Kitirena, come up and say hi--I don't bite without permission, but if you pet me or scratch my chin, I'll definitely purr!

My Favorite Obsessions:
I love catgirls and sexy/pretty android girls like Ping from MegaTokyo, the android secretary Repliee, or the cybernetic boothbabe Actroid. Things Not Fit To Be Buried in My Litterbox:
I despise rap and country & western music, liver & onions (I wouldn't even feed that to a dog, nyao!), people who deliberately lie to me (although not telling me the entire truth is totally a different matter), bad racist stereotypes (and people who act like them), and needless stupidity. Don't ever expect me to accept these things unless you want to become my next scratching post, nyao!

Something You Should Know About Me:
Straight guys and lesbians, please don't fall in love with me--I'm not always what I seem! I like guys as friends, and I don't have a problem with members of the Sapphic Sisterhood as long as they're not too macho (something else I hate--sexism and excessive macho-ness), but I'm only interested in the 'fairer sex' when it comes to romantic partners. No offense, guys, but I have my reasons. Also, I'm over 21, so if you're under 18, don't be offended if I tell you that we can only be friends--I have nothing against teenagers, but there are certain lines that I don't believe in crossing. Also, I'm no longer taking random friend requests, so if I turn your request down, please don't take it personally--it just means that I'd like to know you a little better first.

Also, I'm hesitant to give out too much information about myself for various personal reasons. Get to know me a little, and I'll let you see past my cat mask, but please accept that I use my Kitirena persona as a shield for the most part for a reason. She and I are not always the same person, but we are very similar in many ways. If this bothers you, I'm sorry, but this is the way I am and I don't feel that I should change just to please others.

I've had to update this part of my profile because of certain misunderstandings with a few people, for which I apologize wholeheartedly, and I'm not the sort to enjoy causing trouble. If you can accept me for what I am, you'll find me a loyal friend; if you can't look past my avatar and my feline facade, then I'm afraid you'll just have to look elsewhere for a playmate.
