As tears drop from my cheeks,
They splash to this paper.
Seeming to remember things,
Things I don't want to remember.
I want to remember the fun we had,
The things we did,
Laughs we shared,
I want to remember you.
My tears don't remember that,
They remember the bad,
Something that wasn't you,
They remember pain I don't want to.
The droplets shine on this paper,
Telling me it was you,
Whispering they are here because of you.
Can you tell me they are wrong?
