Wow, I think I will start off with something simple for my first time lol.
Yes, I love mashed potatoes and gravy! And green bean casserole.
Really? I am trying to figure out how I will do it. I know I have to take it out of the freezer like 3 days before I cook it lol. I'm just glad its only a 13 pounder. Usually my husband gets a 20 pounder because his job gives him a free one. I have to make stuffing for my husband even though I don't like it. I prefer rice dressing, mmmm.
Oh that's cool. This year my husbands Aunt invited us to a party at her place on Christmas Eve. And on Christmas, I will be cooking dinner for us for the first time. I've only ever helped make the sides.... Now I'm learning to cook turkey lol
You are probably thinking about the 4D sonogram? Its a super clear way of taking a picture inside.
I agree. Target had absolutely nothing. Walmart's best deals were the $2 games and DVDs. That's about it. I'm going shopping later. My family doesn't celebrate Christmas. They give gifts on Valentine's Day instead. So I can get cheaper deals smile Which is nice since my parents have so many kids....
Yes, they can find out what the baby is only if the baby opens their legs... which mine doesn't want to do lol.
Smart idea. Staying home on Black Friday is the best idea anyone can have. And sometimes sales prices are better online than in the store. Yikes... yeah that's another day I try to stay home and hide. I still haven't done much Christmas shopping.... I avoid it.
Yep... pregnant again. But I think this will be our last one. Hopefully it will be a girl but we don't know.
I really hate Black Friday. Shoving people, crowds, bad traffic causing wrecks, rude attitudes... Haha that's what I need! A cattle prod... Yes, we've had that. Especially when Walmart wasn't open 24 hours. They had to get fire marshalls to monitor how many people go in at a time.
I had a great Thanksgiving with my family. I miss being around them so much.
Ah yikes. I hope you are feeling better. I took my husband to the stores starting at 4 am. Also had to take his friend and my son along. My son didn't like being out so early and I nearly passed out in Walmart lines. Black Friday is dangerous for pregnant women and women with kids!
heeey yeah i got a text from gaia saying you had messaged me. since you were my only friend on here i thought id send a comment your way, i havent been on in forever i know, its because i have been super busy with life and school, the holidays are okay for me so far, hope they are okay for you. ive gotten several texts from gaia for random things but none ever interested me enough to get online lol, miss my rp buddy!!!! lol
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! How was Black Friday?
I used to work retail for a short time before I got married. I worked at the Gap. Unfortunately, I had to man the childrens department. Talk about extreme boredom on one hand and then random chaos on the other. I'm an active person who can't stand being idle. And even though I would walk back and forth through the department, there were times when I wanted to mess something up just so I could fix it! And then when parents decided to bring their wild little brats in... I thought I would scream. But then later it gave me something to do as I had to fix everything they destroyed. I always left leaving it looking so neat and tidy. I hated Black Friday sad Awful holiday unless you are the one doing the shopping. I have a greater respect for people who work on that day now. But then, I kinda had an idea about what it was like from working at the library. People think working at a library automatically makes you a neat, conservative, "librarian". Boy did I blow that theory to bits... Not only was I under 20 years old, riding a motorcycle, and wearing lots of black... but I wasn't afraid to stand up to the "Boss". I did have to keep everything neat and tidy (no big deal since I'm OCD anyway), but at the same time I helped liven things up. And I wasn't the only one. There were 4 of us girls and then a few who came and went over the nearly 4 years I worked there. When I started college, guys finally let me in on a secret fantasy about librarians. Apparently there is the idea going around that on librarians off time, they go into the back and strap each other to things like typewriters and do bondage. (Where do guys come up with this stuff?!) We, library people, weren't that wild but we did have some great times together when we got off work.
Thanks! Its the thought that counts. I will be going to my parents house this Thanksgiving. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and that you don't go crazy on Black Friday! Good luck smile
