the story of the Medik

Hello everyone: (those whom give a thought to see my innards)

My name is Zoey Autumn Rain, my birth name was ‘Katherine Autumn Rain’ . I’m eighteen years young and live within the darker parts of an edged forest nearing the main function of Nova-Scotia, Canada. My life has consisted of much, from a child musician (viola 6 years) between the ages of eight and fourteen, to being the mildly popular (but not hype) D.J. (disk jockey) I am today. To answer a few questions on that topic:

What’s your D.J. name?: =D.J. MEDIK=

Do you stay only in Canada to play or do you also tour from time to time?: =To say I tour would be over-exaggerating a bit I think, I don’t strictly D.J. in Canada, I have played in the states (New-York, Arizona, Utah, and Oregon) and a few other countries (Japan, Romania).

Why the name “Medik”?: I was a raver once.. Spent a lot of time around a lot of drugs and got taken into the vibe of it for some odd years (fourteen through eighteen) and due to the fact a lot of these volatile drugs were taken without appropriate supervision.. I suppose you could say that was me, as I was more found running around giving out lightshows, binkies, and water than that of a drug form. It *earned* me the name because of the fact I was usually always making sure the Ravers stayed ok, in a sense, it was my way of expressing the Raver lifestyle or PLURR (peace, love, unity, respect, responsibility).

What made you decide to become a D.J.?: This story is usually only told under the roof’s of the warehouses I play in and extended to you now for I feel if you’ve gone this far to read, your interested in whom I am.. so.. here goes:

Nothing made me out of turn want to become a D.J., aside from the fact I loved techno and the people that kept it alive (the Ravers) and the lifestyle that followed changed my entire perspective of life.. Gave me a whole new way of seeing the world and all the good people in it.. What’s kept me here is more or less the magic behind who I am.. I stood behind a set of tables (D.J. spin tables) a while back… my hands atop the wheels (where the records go traditionally, however I go digital now) and I paused.. Practically froze right in the middle of a beat nearing the climax of the session, and I looked off the stage in front of me… seeing everyone in motion.. Smiling and gleeful .. Bright and warm.. As if no matter what was going to happen the next day.. Or what happened the days be for… or if they had to rob they’re moms car to get there.. Nothing else mattered except that exact moment they were in, with they’re kandie (the plastic beaded bracelets) covered arms in the air.. Peace signs taking up the fingers on every hand up.. They’re eyes enormous from whatever drug took them to they’re special place that night.. And I looked at them, as they all danced and were in this moment for me… because of me.. My music took them to this place they were in.. and when that point is reached.. Its like touching heaven.. Even if only for a few seconds a week.. (as raves are normally held on weekends) they hit a point, where they felt nothing could possibly go wrong, were they were safe and loved by all, they were in a nirvana of passion for the ones they care about the most.. Rather that’s they’re significant other.. Or the friends they came with.. They hit that point in my music.. And that, is my heaven, my nirvana, my magic.. And that’s why iv remained in the scene for this long.. Its what keeps my heart beating right along side of the mad bass blowing from the speakers.

Back to my profile this and that’s:

*My favorite food consists of sushi or sashimi, it’s a fight between the two really.. I do love Japan, and the culture to follow along side with it.. Rather it be the food, heritage.. The people or the wonderful legends that surround it.. Japan is by far my favorite place. *

I enjoy in my spare time aside from D.J.ing : taking long walks and heading to parks to read… if I’m not on Gaia, I tend to be a bit social, but due to my lifestyle has kept me for the most part out of the public eye.

I have had some speed bumps as anyone does in life, and on the occasion I leave suddenly.. Its usually to handle them, ask if you desire to know more on that topic..

This is my life. I am me, I live my life how I damn well please.. And I live it to the fullest (with a bit of worry mind you)

Those whom wish to pick a fight with me on here, will result in a ban as I’m not like most of these “Richie” Gaia snobs and say I know this mod, and this mod.. no.. no you don’t.. they’re job here is to keep you and I in check, not to ******** with a personal dispute that you may have. They have they’re own drama, we have ours. if you wish to challenge me.. I trust you’ll come well prepared, but keep in mind, as will I. I have my friends, you ******** with them, you ******** with me. Though I have not many.. I choose not to lose the ones I have because they see me immaturely act on a “he said/she said”
situation. So again.. Please.. Save yourself the trouble and take your daddies beating you out on someone else. I have people to tell me I’m a good person despite what I do, however I respect them and myself far to much to verbally bash children (no matter the topic that started it) online for picking a fight. You kids have your fun, I’ll have mine. This is a game.. If you want to ruin it, do it on your own time, not mine. (applies to all those whom wish to ruin games)
