A little something to begin
Hello all! <3 My name is Carmen Takoshi. I'm nineteen, female and Asian-Canadian! Current status: obsessed with steampunk. STEAMPUUUUNK GAAAAAHHHH.
Please note that I am a stickler for correct use of the English language, so if you ever message me, please write with good grammar and all that jazz. If you don't, I'll most likely ignore you. And no one likes to be ignored.
(Of course if I already know you, then some allowances can be made. P: After all, everyone knows that bad grammar can sometimes be used to comical effect, although no one knows why.)
What else about me? Well, I love to write, obviously. One of my goals is to write a successful novel. I'm a fine arts student, so I'm learning all sorts of lovely traditional techniques, which is great day-to-day fun! ^^ I also draw manga, and could probably open a shop here on Gaia with enough motivation. XD I'm very obsessed with anime in general, as are a lot of my friends, so we spend a lot of time around each other cracking stupid jokes about every series imaginable (as well as each other, but that's a different story...)

Ya I know there was blood all over, remember how much detergent we had to use to wash your clothes?!
