There would be no point in throwing a bile bomb on two tanks. when the tanks come the horde stops for a moment which means... no common zombies on tank which means no slowing down the tanks. The bile bombs just attract nearby zombies, doesn't do any damage.
I did have a Molotov ready but... you can't throw a molotov while incapacitated...
