It has probably been at least 5 or more years since I've gone sledding or ice skating. The years have not been kind to my body, plus arthritis has settled in, making some things difficult for me to deal with. Some of the meds I'm on messes with my balance and causes other issues as well, so I cannot do things like I used to be able to do. I'm still a kid at heart though! lol
November was a lot milder than the norm, and we just got dumped on with our first snow last Thursday/Friday. I live about 1/2 an hour East of Lake Michigan. I love the fluffy "lake effect" snows produced by cold northern air/storm fronts pulling down over the warmer waters. They are so pretty! It's the storm fronts that come up from the South that gives us heavy wet snows that I really don't like very much. The snow we got last week was a combined effort between two fronts converging. They are saying that the storm coming upon us could be a really bad one.

Are you a Michigander, like I?
