Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep - -Native American Prayer

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am the thousand winds that blow.
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am the gentle showers of rain.

I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the star-shine of the night.

I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each loving thing.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

Birthday: 04/28

Bonjour, call me Bleue, please.
I'm old enough to understand some of the worst parts of life
yet young enough to still be a tad innocent.
I respect all beliefs and individuality.
I can be very deep and serious,
but, i also smile and enjoy life and youth.
I am not anti-social nor a social butterfly.

I am a very grim and morbid person;
I am what you would call a Tapophiliac.
I enjoy taking nightly walks through my local cemetery.
Occasionally, I will bring my camera to capture the aesthetic of it all.

I do not label myself, I am Goth.
Goth is a culture and I am quite proud to be a part of it.
Please, do not waist your time arguing with me on this subject...or at all.

I do not lie and I dislike those who do.
I will tell you that Bleue is not my born name.
But, it is all you will get from me.

I can be quite stubborn and much to picky.
All in all, I usually get what I desire.
And, that is not much; I am content with what I have.
I do not love much at all, and do not favor.
Trust has become an enemy over the years.

I can be quite distant;
Silent at times.
I simply go into towns to observe;
not so much to chat.
If you wish to chat, message me and I will reply when i can.

If I wish to speak my mind, trust me, I will.
I am anti-sexist, anti-racist, and anti-homophobic.

Music is practically everything to me.
I love to sing.
I play the piano.
I wish to dance.

Religion:
I worship no one.
I believe in no higher power or creator.
I really could care less where I came from.
I know that I am here and I will be leaving soon or late,
Going to no place but six feet into the earth in a quite nicely adorned box.
I believe in ghosts and faeries;
Spirits and nymphs.
I practice the dark arts; magic.
Seances and rituals.

I have grown tired of speaking of myself.
I am not quite fond of me, you see.
Do not ask why, simply do not care.
It is me, not who I wish to be.

Adieu
Goodbye.

"It's difficult in times like these:
ideals, dreams and cherished hopes rise within us,
only to be crushed by grim reality.
It's a wonder I haven't abandoned all my ideals,
they seem so absurd and impractical.
Yet I cling to them because I still believe,
in spite of everything,
that people are truly good at heart."
[Anne Frank]

“I speak two languages:
Body and English.”
[Mae West]

“Tell me I'm clever,
Tell me I'm kind,
Tell me I'm talented,
Tell me I'm cute,
Tell me I'm sensitive,
Graceful and wise,
Tell me I'm perfect--
But tell me the truth.”
[Shel Silverstein]
