Welcome, wondering traveler, welcome to my realm.
Once in peace and in harmony
Once being able to sleep soundly
Once being able to laugh and smile
Before you were dragged into this land that's vile
Darkness surrounds you all around
You frantic breath, your rapid heartbeat are the only sound
You cry and plead
And pray that someone will hear
But there is not a single person near
You try to get up and run away
But it drags you down to this place where you shall stay
You try to escape, you try to hide
But all of your efforts are pushed aside
Tears keep falling onto the floor
When at last someone opens the door
You cry out so they can hear
And smile when they draw near
They pick you up in their embrace
And wipe the tears from your face
The darkness is gone, leaving no trace
You are finally free from that dark place
You are happy at last
And trying to forget that dreadful past
But this world isn't all happy and light
This world harbors its own fright
The people here tease and stare
They push and shove; they don't care
They help you at first, but then they push you away
They make fun of you; they don't want you to stay
To them you're a toy
To kick and smash; to destroy
You shut your watery eyes
To escape this land filled with lies
To a place where no one stays
Where you can live peacefully for the rest of your days
You open your stained eyes
To find that you are no longer in that world of lies
But once again in that dark place
But this time you don't shy away from its cold embrace
You welcome it towards you
In this world that's true
Darkness fills you lonely heart
And now you make a new start
In this land of darkness and fear
To you......its the only home near.......
