Wow... but you guys aren't in University yet. D: And at university, the teachers rarely make you work in groups unless you chose them. .w.

Though if you're coming across as too strongly against something someone is doing then I understand they may be a bit offended...
Do you point out the mistakes kindly? Like make small suggestions... for example...
"Maybe you should try doing ____" or something like that. xD
Part of it might just be how you say it. :3 And if you explain to them you're only being so picky because you want to do well, they might understand... though maybe not. >w<

Aww! D: Your teacher grades you guys as a group and not as individuals? I hate when teachers do that. =/
If you and your group members aren't getting along, why not talk to the teacher?
Though sometimes it's best to just let them do their part even if you don't agree with it... unless they're doing it wrong, then you should speak up.
Sometimes it gets the work done and well, and it doesn't give yourself more work then you need. >w<

My English teacher did that too, up until we actually got to know some of the people in our class, but it wasn't for group projects, just peer editing... so it wasn't that bad. :3 It would be awesome if you guys did, or if your teacher let you pick people you did like. :3 Makes for a better project!

I really hated team projects in high school... especially when the teacher picked the groups...
I'd always be put in groups with people who made me do all the work. -w-
