This is an in-character account! I'm in the process of designing a pretty profile, but for now, here's some info on the character.

Djrna (pronounce DYUR-nah) is a Veena Viera. His mother and father had a very controversial relationship; as Viera typically live in villages of strictly males or females, Djrna's father was breaking his mother's village law by staying with her.

So, the village head exiled the two of them, and they decided to take up housing in a Hume settlement.

Djrna was still a baby during this whole process, but he quickly grew, and the parents were unsure of how to raise him...so they did exactly what they SHOULDN'T have done, and they gave him over to an orphanage, where he was raised by Humes and given their clothing and customs and, of course, manner of speech.

Djrna speaks briskly, with no trace of the accent most people of his race retain when speaking the common tongue. He dyes his hair golden-brown rather than keeping it in its natural shade of white. He doesn't like gathering unwanted attention.

...However, he is COMPLETELY shameless with women, and they often fall head-over-heels for his charms. Not surprising, really, as Viera are more often than not rather attractive, and Djrna is a prime example himself ;D

He recognizes other Viera as his people, but he doesn't understand a lot of their traditions, and he has difficulty socializing with them due to his vastly-different upbringing.

I usually use this character in Towns, particularly in 1023 and surrounding areas, but every now and then I'll take him to a different topic.
