Anya Earlstreim (アーニャ・アールストレイム, Anya Arusutoreimu) is the Knight of Six, a girl of few expressions and lacking in common sense. She pilots the heavy assault Knightmare Frame, Mordred, which she turns to even in situations where it may not be appropriate, as seen in episode 12 of the second season. Anya appears disinterested in the world around her, and appears to have little motivation where anything other than combat is concerned. She holds the distinction of being the youngest individual ever appointed to the Knights of Rounds at the age of 14, and shares a friendship with the similarly young Suzaku and Gino. Suzaku's cat Arthur also takes a liking to her, though it seems to be more affectionate to everyone except Suzaku himself. Seeking to be remembered, she regularly uses her camera phone to update her blog.
She is a quiet and introverted person with a mysterious past and has a Britannian emblem tattooed on her left arm. She wants to be remembered, so she maintains a blog which she frequently updates and is always snapping pictures with her camera-phone. She is friends with Suzaku and Gino due to their similar ages, and Arthur takes a liking to her. Anya pilots the heavy assault Knightmare Frame, Mordred.
Anya maintains a detached attitude in most situations, usually declaring most things to be boring. In battle, her fighting style reflects her heavily-armored Knightmare; she annihilates her enemies with overwhelming force and doesn't hesitate to kill disabled enemies. However, this detached attitude also gives her a lack of common sense; she had piloted her personal Knightmare Frame just for the sake of capturing Lelouch’s hat to gain extra club budgets, disregarding the fact that she was piloting her Mordred in a non-combat area and had aroused the suspicion of the Knight Police, as well as forgetting the fact that she is to be a couple with Lelouch if she gets his hat.
Anya develops an interest in Kallen's Guren Flight-Enabled Version after being disabled by it in battle, but Kallen's subsequent capture prevents any further developments. She also has suspicions about Lelouch's former status as a prince of Britannia, having found a picture of him as a child in her blog, and has seen both him and his double in the same place. Her aforementioned lack of motivation seems to have kept her from putting the pieces together. In the novels, set in the year between the first and second seasons, Anya serves as Nunnally's knight. She demonstrates an unusual familiarity with the deceased Empress Marianne, able to find her way through Marrianne's home despite it having been sealed off after her assassination. She cries for no apparent reason when piloting the Ganymede.
When the Black Knights attempt to kidnap Nunnally Vi Britannia as she is being transported to Area 11, Anya joins the battle, destroying an escort ship that would have collided with Nunnally's transport. She also destroys Nagisa Chiba's Gekka. When Kallen Stadtfeld disables both Anya and Gino with her upgraded Guren Aerial-Type, the unusual Knightmare Frame catches Anya's attention.
Though it is not known what skills she has, Anya has always proven herself as somewhat of a cold-hearted fighter when it comes to piloting her Mordred Knightmare Frame, mostly using her unit's Hadron Cannon. She is also very bored when she is not in a battle, as seen in episode 5 of R2. Anya relies mostly on the Mordred's power.
Anya appears in the first episode of the second season alongside Suzaku and Gino when Suzaku declares to the Emperor that he will be the one to kill Zero. She subsequently joins Suzaku in Area 11 along with Gino. When Suzaku receives paperwork to order the execution of the Eleven who tried to kill him and does not immediately sign it, Anya does it for him and asks him if he's a masochist, since he volunteered for duty in a country that hates him. Suzaku answers that he does not mind being hated because someone in the past understood him and he has always considered himself to be a sinner.
She serves as one of Nunnally's guards during the re-establishment of the Special Administrative Zone of Japan and takes Governor-General away for her safety when all the Elevens present don outfits to impersonate Zero. When Nunnally questions what is happening, particularly concerning what actions her adviser Miss Romeyer will take, Anya assures Nunnally that Suzaku is also present and will prevent anything from going wrong.
It is later revealed that she updates her blog because she doesn't trust her own memories, as she has numerous blog entires over nine years old which she doesn't remember writing as well as discrepancies between her blog and her memories. Suzaku speculates that she is under the influence of Geass.
M o r d r e d
The Mordred (モルドレッド, Morudoreddo), is a heavy-artillery Knightmare Frame piloted by the Knight of Six, Anya Earlstreim, It has an integrated Float System enabling flight. In keeping with its role, the Mordred has heavy MSV shielding surrounding the entire unit, making most attacks futile. Furthermore, it has equally tough armor beneath the shielding, such that it can withstand a direct hit from a Gekka's heated chain-sword without even being scratched, whereas any other Knightmare would have been sliced in half. The same cannot be said for the Float System, which can be sheared through with ease. It possesses four Hadron Cannons mounted on the shoulders, which can be unfolded and merged into a quad-barrel cannon called the Stark Hadron Cannon, which is capable of obliterating an aerial cruiser in a single shot. Missile launchers are also built into its chest, hips, arms, and legs. Although lacking in close-range weapons, the Mordred's raw strength allows it to crush other Knightmares bare-handed.

The Knights Of Rounds
The Knights of Rounds (ナイトオブラウンズ, Naito Obu Raunzu) is a unit of twelve elite soldiers under the direct command of the Emperor of Britannia, each holding a rank from one to twelve. They operate outside the normal command structure of the Britannian Military, and take orders only from the Emperor himself. Knights of Rounds are treated as nobility within the Empire. Their ranks don't seem to have any particular bearing on their skill level or dominance over other Knights. The one exception is that the 'Knight of One' may request governance of any colonial area of his choosing from the Emperor. The Order Of The Black Knights
The Order of the Black Knights (黒の騎士団, Kuro no Kishidan), or simply the Black Knights, is a group of revolutionaries created by Zero in his campaign to overthrow Britannia. He introduces the group to the world as an organization which protects those without power from those who have it. Under his leadership, the Black Knights grow in strength exponentially, becoming a force rivaling the Britannian army. At the end of the first season, Lelouch declares the formation of the United State of Japan, a nation of acceptance and tolerance where any and all can seek refuge.

The Chinese Federation (中華連邦, Chūka Renpō?) is an imperial monarchy that spans the Asian and Pacific regions, including Central, South, East and Southeast Asia with Sakhalin and the Korean Peninsula.
